Best Day To Shop For Flights
Research from travel booking app Hopper shows that the day after Cyber Monday, aka Travel Deal Tuesday, is actually the best time to buy your flights, with deals on 20% of all domestic and international routes.
Last year, Hopper sent more deal notifications on Travel Deal Tuesday than Black Friday and Cyber Monday combined, and in 2016, the travel app saw fare sale activity spike by 2X the normal volume.
Here are some of the best deals they’re expecting this year:
London - 41% off
Paris - 32% off
Barcelona - 36% off
Hong Kong - 32% off
Turks & Caicos - 42% off
Major international flag carriers including Icelandair, Cathay Pacific, South African Airways, and Philippine Airlines have already confirmed they’ll be participating in Travel Deal Tuesday this year. Personally, I’m going to be keeping my eyes peeled for those flights to Paris that are over 30% off!
